This policy covers the MobilCad application, account and sharing services, and the mobilcad.com website.
Information we process
When an account is created, MobilCad may process the user's name, email address, profession, MobilCad user ID and optional phone number, organization, city, profile details or profile photo. In-app friendship, project-sharing, cloud-sync, notification and support records are processed when those features are used. To deliver notifications, sharing and cross-device collaboration, and to operate, protect and troubleshoot the service, MobilCad may process a notification token, platform, language, an app-generated device identifier, service interactions and integrity/security signals.
Crash reports and diagnostics
Released Android, iOS and macOS apps use Firebase Crashlytics to diagnose crashes and errors and improve reliability. Reports may include stack traces, relevant application state, app version, device and operating-system information, installation identifiers and session quality data. Web error reports use Firebase/Google Cloud logging. Diagnostic fields added by MobilCad do not intentionally include account names, email addresses or CAD project contents, and recognizable secrets and personal details are filtered from app-generated error text. Native SDK reports may include technical information collected directly by the SDK. These reports support troubleshooting and are not used by MobilCad for advertising or cross-app tracking.
CAD projects, coordinates and files
Projects created locally remain on the device unless the user chooses to upload or share them. Cloud projects, versions and shared files are stored to provide the selected service. Copies already downloaded to another user's device cannot be remotely erased from that device when the sender deletes an account.
Camera, files, location and AI assistance
Camera, photo, file and location permissions are used only for user-initiated coordinate reading, import, profile photo, map or field workflows. Local OCR may run on the device. If the user selects cloud-assisted coordinate review, the selected image or document may be transmitted securely to Google Cloud/Firebase, Cloud Vision and Gemini services to complete that request. Users should obscure unnecessary personal information before submission.
Purchases, subscriptions and support
For store purchase or subscription verification, MobilCad may process the store type, product identifier, purchase or transaction identifier, transaction date, verification data, subscription status and expiry time. MobilCad does not receive payment-card or bank-account details; payment and the store's own transaction history are administered by Apple App Store or Google Play. If a user submits support or feedback, the category, subject, description, platform, MobilCad ID and account email are processed to investigate and respond to the request.
MobilCAD Desktop
MobilCAD Desktop is a separate, paid Mac App Store product. It contains no advertising, in-app purchases or subscriptions. The Mac App Store processes the upfront purchase; MobilCad does not receive payment-card details or verify the app purchase receipt inside the Mac app. Account, cloud, sharing, notification, support and optional AI features use the same service practices described in this policy.
Advertising and privacy choices
The mobile app is free. It does not request or display ads, or offer an ad-removal subscription, when the verified App Store or Google Play storefront is Türkiye. In every verified non-Türkiye storefront, MobilCad may show Google AdMob full-screen interstitial ads only at natural breaks in the workflow. No ad is loaded if the storefront cannot be verified. MobilCad requests non-personalized ads; consent information is updated and, when required, Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) form is shown before the Mobile Ads SDK is initialized or an ad is requested. MobilCad does not request ATT authorization and disables the publisher first-party ID setting. Google Mobile Ads and its consent tools may nevertheless transmit to Google and Google may process an IP-derived approximate location, device identifiers, advertising data, product interactions, crash information, performance information and other diagnostic data for ad delivery, frequency capping, aggregated measurement, analytics, fraud prevention and service operation, subject to the user's consent and applicable privacy settings. Users can reopen the available privacy choices from within the app. An active, store-verified MobilCAD Pro subscription prevents MobilCad from loading or displaying ads.
Service providers and sharing
MobilCad may use Google and Firebase infrastructure for authentication, databases, file storage, notifications, application security, advertising in supported mobile storefronts and optional AI-assisted functions. MobilCad does not sell personal data or provide CAD projects, coordinates or user-selected files to advertising networks. User-initiated files are disclosed only to the selected recipient and providers needed to deliver the chosen service.
Retention, deletion and choices
Account and cloud data are retained while the account is active and for as long as needed to provide the relevant service. “Delete My Account” starts deletion of the account, directory profile, friendships, sharing records and cloud projects owned by the user. Limited records may be retained where required by law, security or dispute resolution. See Account Deletion for the available paths.
Website and cookies
The marketing site has no account form and currently uses no analytics or advertising tracking. It stores only the necessary first-party preference used to remember the visitor's cookie choice. See the Cookie Policy.
Security and changes
Transfers use current encryption methods such as HTTPS and access is restricted to the permissions needed for the service. No internet transmission can be guaranteed to be absolutely secure. This page will be updated when data practices change, with additional notice or consent where required.
